Community Connections for Life, CMHC provide skilled clinicians to act as “connectors” or mediators between parents and teachers of secondary school students. Our staff attend parent/teacher conferences for students with behavioral, mental or emotional disturbances, acting as support and clinical translator between all parties. We encourage the collaboration of parent/teacher and student in order to improve educational outcomes over the course of client’s school year. Our clinical staff also makes clinical recommendations for the family when necessary. Parent/Teacher consultations are conducted in a safe and confidential environment to maintain HIPPA standards as required by law.
