Community Connections for Life, CMHC provides PSCYHO-SOCIAL REHABILITATION through group practice. PSR is an intensive form of group that focuses specifically
on increasing the social aspect of a person's life. In a small group setting, topics such as effective communication, building self-esteem, hygiene, anger management, conflict resolution, peer pressure, bulling, maintaining health relationships and many more are discussed. Challenged and enhanced through group interaction and processing, PSR allows for increased social behaviors and peer to peer interaction.
PSR group sessions are facilitated by skilled master’s and bachelor’s level clinicians (group facilitators). PSR group sessions are conducted in a safe and confidential environment to maintain HIPPA standards as required by law.
