Our adult program offers comprehensive, quality, mental health services to adults, ages 18 and over living with a mental health diagnosis within a safe, compassionate, and therapeutic environment. Adults attending the program participate in daily Psycho-social Rehabilitation groups that focus on improving social skills and behaviors with the goal of increasing the quality of clients social life and maximizing their ability to function optimally within their community. Individual therapy is provided to clients within the program to address thoughts, feelings, and behaviors that may be interfering with their ability to achieve their personal goals. Substance abuse interventions are also available at CCFL to aide our clients in their efforts to eliminate the use of substances and adopt healthy lifestyle habits. Group facilitators at CCFL’s adult program, possess a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in a social service related field and all therapists have a master’s degree in Psychology and/or Social work and are registered interns in the state of Florida, working towards licensure. Transportation to and from the program is provided daily to attendees along with breakfast and lunch. Targeted case management services are also available to our clients to assist in linkage to additional community resources.
